Rack #1, our original equipment rack is designed to deliver a great platform for your HiFi that provides a beautiful piece of furniture to display your system and give your components desirable isolation from each other and vibration noise in your room. You can add additional component isolation with our Isolation Feet.
Rack #1 comes standard as a 48" wide x 22" deep x 30" tall rack with adjustable shelves in Ash. The steel frame breaks down into four pieces to make shipping easier. Assembly is easy and can be done by one person (but it is a cinch with two).
Each rack is made to order and if you are interested in another finish or species of wood, we will be happy to work with you on this selection.

From Carol: "This is difficult to explain, but I like the way the system sounds with the new racks. It isn't that there was anything "wrong" with [the previous Mondo racks], but there's something about "hearing with your eyes." I used to only wear my glasses for distance, and when I worked in an office where one person was on the opposite side of the room, I'd always get grief for putting them on to hear her better. The Mondo racks were fine, and did their job, and of course I liked the way the system sounded. With this new rack, I put my glasses on to look at it, and I think it sounds better. It's pleasing to look at, and that just ups the cool factor, which by default ups the way it sounds."

I have everything on a Fern and Roby wood and metal audio rack, which I absolutely love.

I am quite satisfied with my Fern & Roby Rack #1 and I also have a Solid Steel rack. I find the Butcherblock Acoustics' racks to be very nice and economical.
